Jewish prisoners at the moment of their liberation from an internment camp “death train” near the Elbe in 1945

So I was invited to a wedding which I have yet to decide whether or not to go to. If I do, though, I really want to wear a pretty vintage inspired floral dress. It’s a breakfast wedding. How cute is that?! Well while I was browsing numerous websites with over the top prices for these gorgeous frocks, I picked out a few to choose from. After work today, on a whim, I decided to go to a thrift store I had never been to before and low and behold I found the most amazing emerald green authentic 1950s dress! It’s so beautiful. I got it for a mere $4.99, and it fits like a glove. A very snug glove…lol. I may have to hem it a few inches because I’m so petite, but I don’t want to take away the amazing tea length look of it. I will definitely be rocking this lovely number if I go! I’d like to pair it with my yellow poetic license oxfords and one of my glamorous vintage hats. I only need sheer gloves now!
In the depths of despair.
